Since the summer of 2022, I’ve been consistently creating sketchbook drawings, experimenting with various mediums to bring unique texture and depth. This collection captures my spontaneous explorations of abstraction and composition, while reflecting personal moments from daily life.

In the summer of 2022, Mago Lang and I, as recent high school graduates, created a mural in a windowless dormitory space where we had spent countless study nights. Our goal was to go beyond art, using the mural to 'break the fourth wall' by reinterpreting our school’s architecture, inviting dorm residents to see their world with renewed wonder and limitless potential.

"Cradle to the Grave," a sculpture created by our six-person team, contrasts life and death through the mutation of "flowers," revealing the withered essence beneath their beauty. Visitors interact by connecting to a heartbeat sensor, merging their pulse with the flowers to simulate life, blurring the line between animate and inanimate. The piece explores false vitality as a formalist critique.
Our proposal was selected for the 2023 "Migratory Birds 300" outdoor exhibition in Beidaihe, China—an event with an 8% acceptance rate. Engineered with local workers, the sculpture is built to withstand coastal weather for the two-week display.

Personal Art Exhibition
2022
I curated this exhibition and created its pieces just before my high school graduation, using it as a personal exploration of “narcissism.” Rooted in Freudian psychiatry and Greek mythology, narcissism signifies self-absorption that distorts reality, a trait often overlooked in its everyday use. Through this exhibition, I metaphorically documented my journey, encouraging viewers to reflect on the cognitive traps of narcissism and the importance of building a balanced self-image. The goal was to create an emotional connection and advocate for healthy self-esteem and purposeful living.
